How Does Basswax Pro-Stick Handle The Heat?

Living in the Redding, California area where temperatures can get as high as 120 degrees in the summer, it was extremely important to Steve that Basswax would not melt.  For this very reason, we use beeswax, which has a very high melting point and have tested it extensively in triple digit weather in direct sunlight.  We don't recomment leaving it exposed on your car dashboard, but Basswax Pro-Stick will maintain it's solid state in extreme weather.  With that said, the absolute best place to keep your Basswax is...in your pocket!  That is where it will always maintain perfect application consistency.

Is Basswax Only Good For Bass?

Absolutely not!  Although Steve invented Basswax Pro-Stick so that he could use a quality bass attractant without making a mess on his Ranger, the list of fish that we find are drawn to Basswax keeps growing every day.  Our customers have raved how well Basswax works for attracting Salmon, Trout & Steelhead, Sturgeon, Walleye, Salt Water Fish and many more.

Why Are You Discontinuing Baitfish?

Although Baitfish was pretty effective, we realized that we could improve on it with a new formula and a new name...Shad.  Those of you who liked Baitfish, please try out our Shad.  You won't be dissapointed.
